Complaint against Gourmet Society
Received a e mail from paypal stating an amount of £39.99 was being taken from my account by Gourmet Society. At first reported it as spam. I then remembered I had a GS card which I had only used once and I certainly would not want to renew it. Called GS. Absolutely useless and unacceptable customer service. Told me a reminder e mail had been sent to me. I did not receive this or I would have acted on it. Offered me £10 off and said he couldn't do any more. I stated that he could do more - canx my subscription and refund my money. This has been escalated but I am not hopeful of a positive result.
