Complaint against ecatering

I received my order of a display fridge on the 29th May at lunchtime. As requested I removed all the packaging and checked the external of the fridge. The following morning I turned the fridge on. Throughout the day I checked the fridge and it appeared to not be cooling. I left it overnight and the next day 30th May it was still warm. I contacted ecatering and was asked to fill in a form which included recording temperatures which were 24 degrees. I was informed that these would be passed to their manufacturing department. I waited until Tuesday 5th June and emailed them to ask what was happening. I was informed that a supervisor had been informed of the incident. I rang ecatering Wednesday 6th June and was subsequently emailed back. I was requested to use my own engineer to have a look at the fridge to prevent any further delay. I sent the following email in return: I do not have an engineer. I purchased a new fridge rather than second hand to avoid having to deal with repair issues. I would like the goods removed and replaced with another display fridge. Or alternatively a refund and goods returned so that I can replace the faulty fridge which ecatering has supplied to me. I feel I have been more than patient in this matter but this needs rectified ASAP

It seems very strange that you choose to write such comments when we have been in constant dialogue with you regarding the matter and are trying to resolve your issue. This type of activity does nothing to speed up any process and if you think that it will then it is a mistake.
