I seem to be in a similar situation to many others whereby there is credit to be refunded to me. I was given the “ There are no timescales for refunds as we are changing our refund process” stock response today, after they confirmed my final bill had been produced. Coincidentally, the refund section of their website has now been taken down too. Is such a response enough for me to go straight to the ombudsman ? or do I need to go through their complaints process first. I can’t see the point in complaining to them if I’m going to have to wait 8 weeks to get the same response.
