Complaint against Economy Energy

been trying to get a refund from these guys since 08.08.18 - to cut a long story short. i have been in contact with them through FB & Twitter even today 10.09.18, but since this evening i notice that they have disappeared from these social platforms. they have given different time scales on the length of time for the refund - each time getting longer and longer. i even had a response via a private conversation on Twitter that suggested that the refund request was non existent. yes i took a pic of this to keep for reference. if this saves just one person a load of agro then i consider them fortunate.

Phil - thank you for your response, i have found out why this has happened, but it took a long time, but i spoke to Tod 11.09.18 who confirmed that the refund had been stopped as i had changed suppliers. I now have to accept that i need to wait for the final bill to be ready before i can then ring back & request my refund as you don't automatically do this?

I could have been informed of this refund cancellation on the 15th & saved myself a lot of agro. i still consider this bad practice as i requested the refund prior to moving energy suppliers.
