Complaint against Economy Energy

I am writing on behalf of my son, his partner and 3 young children. Nearly two weeks ago they had a new gas meter (prepayment) fitted but were not left a card to top up with. They were told to phone Economy, which they did and were given a number to give to their local shop in exchange for a top up card. (They were told to wait an hour for it to process) just over one hour later the young lady walked to the shop in question with her 9 week old baby, one and half yr old, and 3 year old sons. (Her partner was at work at the time) anyway, there was no gas card waiting so she walked home and another hour later...still no gas card. After she had walked there 3 times she called me and I went to the shop..still no gas card. I telephoned the supplier and they apologise and assured us they would receive a card by ‘blue track’ by 1pm the next day...oh and they sent an engineer to top the meter up with £4. However, the next day the card never arrived so I called Economy gas and they...again apologised saying it would be there by 1pm the next day and for some reason the card hadn’t been sent ‘blue track’ . The next’ve guessed - the card didn’t arrive!! By now I was livid, the 3yr old is a severe asthmatic and the baby is only 9weeks old. I telephoned yet again, this time they said I was misinformed and should of been told it would arrive by 6pm that day, apologies were spilled out once again but by this time they had ran out of gas, they had no heating and no hot water so Economy gas assured me if it didn’t arrive by 6pm they would send another engineer to top up their meter with another £4. 6pm arrived and card arrived. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled that anyone can treat a young family in this way... Please can SOMEBODY advise me...they still have no hot water or heating
