[RESPONDED] Won't refund and 40% price hike

Complaint against Economy Energy

Absolutely appalling customer service. I have been overpaying and I have been trying to get a refund and review of my payment since 14/7/18, 8 weeks. I am still to receive either even though my account is now almost £300 pounds in credit. Then this morning I have received an email to inform me of a price increase. Based on my last 12 month usage my annual charge will increase from £1005 to £1425 more than a 40% increase how can that possibly be justified?

I have chased on 8 separate occasions on this number and getting nowhere I have even been promised a call by a manager and that's not happened

So been offered £100 refund on the £300 credit built up. Still not had it though! Poor excuse for the 40% price increase and no apology for the now 9 weeks of poor customer service Bulb here we come with £50 credit via a link I'll share the link then everyone else can benefit
