[RESOLVED] - Still waiting after over a month

Complaint against First Utility

I decided to switch over from my current electricity supplier (Utility Warehouse) to First Utility. I read on their website that it takes only 2 or 3 weeks to switch over. Despite three calls to them since with many assurances that my application was being processed, I have still to receive a single email from them confirming that I shall be switched over to them. I telephoned them yesterday and was promised faithfully that I would receive a welcoming email today. Nothing. Don't they want new customers? It's very odd. I want to switch to First Utility yet the company is dragging its heels over welcoming me. What on earth is going on?

Many thanks. I finally got through to someone who discovered that emails had been sent to the incorrect email address, which is why I never heard anything. An extra letter had been inserted in the address.

Many thanks. I finally got through to someone the other day and it was discovered that emails had been sent to the wrong address!! A single letter had been inserted into the email address.
