British Gas put my name on someones bills; my credit rating affected; customer service paralysed.

Complaint against British Gas

This is the 2nd time they ve done it. I wait up to half an hour on the phone while it is apologetically 'dealt with' but nothing happens. I write to Customer Service and get reassuring letter from Kevin Roxburgh, Director but nothing happens even though it says he'll be in contact within 7 days. The worst of it is the sentence 'Resolving your complaint is extremely important to us'.

I vowed never to use them again about 20 years ago when I rang to query the final bill I had just received and they told me I must be lying as they hadn't issued one! I really hope you get this resolved!
