Complaint against E.ON Energy

When i moved in to local authority flat, the New key e on provided me with would not register in the meter so I had to carry on with the key that was already in meter. I informed e on of this and they said they would send an engineer out. When i noticed on the occasions of topping up the meter it wasn't displaying what I was topping up money wise, once again I informed them that there was still a problem with this meter, once again they said they would send an engineer out, once again no one came, which I know for a fact as the meter carried on being faulty. Now they have debt collectors chasing me for 2 yrs of estimated electricity of over 800 pound. I am currently homeless and have only a care of address, all my possessions had to go when I was made homeless through no fault of my own. If e on had done a simple meter reading during the 2 yrs I lived at this property they would of realised there was a problem with the meter, never mind the occasions I reported this fact
