As I am moving a house in the first week in September I cancelled my direct debit at the end of July, and decided to pay off my outstanding bill at once. The outstanding amount is less than £200. After less than a week of cancelling my direct debit I got bombarded with numerous phone calls, text messages, letters and emails threatening to take action if the bill is not paid immediately. Funny enough after all that harassment they contacted me to persuade me to move EDF energy with me. I DON'T THINK SO!!!
