EDF has been refusing for about 18 months to change the billing address and cancel the existing dds
Complaint against EDF Energy
We are managing agents for a management company. EDF steadfastly refuse to update the billing address details and will not cancel the direct debits. This has caused the bank account, which is no longer in use and needs to close, to have a significant overdraft with increasing bank charges. I have telephoned them several times and emailed proof of management. The client's old bank account becomes overdrawn and we are forced to put funds into that bank account.
