EDF ransom £100's by overbilling at 150% & refusing to refund or reduce Direct Debit values

Complaint against EDF Energy

After 4 months of E-mail, phonecalls and Facebook messages EDF have failed to refund over £400 of overbilling, with the Direct debit set roughly 150% of actual usage. When I asked for the refund last, they warned me that they would have to further increase the Direct Debit and did so. Any reply has been a non-committal ''we're working on it'' just to buy more time to keep my money. Despite failing to resolve any of these issues, their marketing team waste time each day on pointless posts instead of actually contributing to fixing the situation. SWALEC refunded my overpayments within 10 days when I left, and I am still an EDF customer being treated with neglect and contempt
