Complaint against Extra Energy
Account number 00206899 I am experiencing the following issue: I am having trouble getting a credit balance back after switching my gas & electric supply from Extra Energy to British Gas. I first requested the credit balance of nearly £400 on the 19th May, and my final bill was produced on the 20th May, telling me that there was a credit balance of £381.99 which would be refunded by the 30th May. This date came and went so another final bill was produced on the 8th June, this time telling me that there was now a credit balance of £383.06 which would be refunded to me by the 18th June. Again this date passed and, despite being told that the money would go back into my account, it did not. I raised a complaint on the 20th June and received an email to say that it would be resolved within 21 working days. Again, this has now passed and there is no sign of the refund. To action this I would like Extra Energy to pay back the credit balance immediately.
