Unlawful transfer of my electricity account behind my back

Complaint against Spark Energy

Spark Energy has, behind my back, unlawfully has switched my Electricity account to their own with no name on the account from which it was transferred from and no name given for the account it was transferred to. I have been contacting Spark Energy account managers in their customer services section about the firm’s unlawful behaviour. Over the past several months, I have been trying to obtain a Deadlock letter from Spark Energy so that the Energy Ombudsman can deal with my complaint regarding the issues that I have been complaining since last April. After several months, still not a single constructive response from Spark Energy They know very well that I have no contract with Spark Energy and have never asked the company to be my energy supplier. The switching has been done unlawfully. Spark Energy has also breached the Personal Data Protection laws by sending my personal details to a debt collecting agency without any justification as no bills had been issued to my property by them. I have repeatedly been asking them to furnish me with a written response in relation to their unlawful conduct; the Ombudsman referred to it as a “Deadlock Letter”. So far the company has ignored all my requests. Today I had another telephone conversation with Keerin from the company's call centre. I asked him to give me a reference for logging the complaint and he refused. No name on the account from which it was transferred from and no name given for the account it was transferred to.

From my experience of several months of dealing with Spark Energy regarding their unlawful, criminal behaviours in putting me in a abusive relationship that I never asked for or showed any interests, I fail to see what you could do; when the culture of the company is corrupt, and denials.
