To start with npower sent me a bill, the day after I moved in (the flat had been empty for over 5 months, all power switch off) and I received a bill for £704 -WHAT!! So on going I ended up paying £240. Obviously still too much but i thought (wrongly as it goes) this would put me some credit up. Then I received a bill for £1004 2 months later, 28 separate complaints, including directors, many managers and the CEO all promising redress, all they do is lie to you!! I have changedvsuppliers, obviously. The ombudsman got involved, gave them instructions of redress, they have not done anything but constantly badgered me to pay a bill of £842!! Now Wilkins Chapman have got involved with the usual threats of court. The ombudsman has reopened my case (which they do not usually do). The really shocking part was in the paperwork sent to me by Wilkins Chapman was that in the summer, (bearing in mind this is a 2 bedroom flat that I only spend 2 - 3 days a week in and my electricity usage is minimal) npower generated a bill for over 9 thousand pounds then 2 weeks later 8 thousand!!! This company has no idea what they are doing! In fact I would class them as a rogue company!
