Took 3+ months to refund £1200 credit to my pensioner parents. Now failing to honour goodwill offer
Complaint against npower
After building a credit balance of £1200, it took numerous calls, letters, emails, meter readings and the threat of the ombudsman to eventually elicit a (frankly poor) response. They offered to waive the £62 closing balance but my parents have higher standards and had already paid the bill on receipt. On 13 Jan we asked that this was refunded promptly. We have not had the courtesy of an acknowledgement, reply or payment. An appalling attitude to any customer, let alone an elderly couple. A company apparently lacking in integrity, compassion, manners or any form of customer service.
