Complaint against Green Star Energy

This company deserve minus stars after the way they have treated by 78 mother. She decided to change her supplier after it took Green Star 6 months to amend the details on their account and to stop writing to my late father. On closing the account she received a closing bill of nearly £900 which was more for a three month period than they had predicted for the year and more than they had been charged for the whole of the previous year. Their covering letter stated that usage was 8 times that of the same period last year but despite repeated attempts they will not or a simply incapable of investigating this anomaly. We escalated this to a complaint and it took them 54 days to respond to that and the response was that they were glad it had been resolved- unbelievable! They repeatedly ignore our requests and are threatening debt collectors. We have contacted the Ombudsman today. Beware of this company!
