Complaint against Green Star Energy
green star energy contacted me by phone and to cut a long story short talked me into changing my supplier and going with them, after thinking about it I contacted them by email and cancelled the contract on the same day. I received an email back from them and they said it would be cancelled. about a week later a payment card arrived from them for me to use for the meter, again I emailed them to ask why they had sent the card and to confirm I was not changing over to them. I received an email back saying the card had been sent out before contract had been cancelled and I was still with my current supplier. On Wednesday of this week I noticed that my gas had gone onto billing mode and I could not use my gas card.this morning I phoned my current supplier UTILLITA to be told that green star energy had taken over my gas supply even though I cancelled the contract with them. I am disabled and house bound at moment and this has really upset and distressed me. I feel that green star energy are bullies and don't care who they upset and do just what ever they want. I will not let this drop as I have been told I will be billed by UTILLITA to be reconnected back to them which will take 6 weeks. I am refusing to pay such bill as this is not my fault so I expect green star energy to pay it and I also will not be paying any money to them either.
