I changed to Scottish Power last March as there gas and electric and standing charge was cheaper than my last supplier. I received over £100 refund when I left. Scottish Power asked me to pay £27.49 a month but I put it up to £40. I should have been well in credit. I am 73 and also get warm front discount. They are now trying to say I have used nearly three times more electric in the last 12 months. Nothing has changed in my house in fact I now have LED bulbs all over my house to save energy?? I have a smart meter but they sent me an estimated bill?? I have emailed and rang them but I get nowhere. They say they are right which is not true. I have also been away for three weeks in the last 12 months. No one likes being ripped off.
