Complaint against Scottish Power
I still haven't received my warm home discount from Scottish Power for this year. I applied at the beginning of December. I didn't get a reply email from them but when I rang they said it was noted on my account. They're now telling me I should have been given a reference number beginning with E by email and without it they can't tell me whether I'll receive it at the end of May ....which of course is after my tarif has finished. I have had cancer and have a auto immune disease and live on a pension. The payment is invaluable to me. On ringing Scottish Power today about this they couldn't find any reference on my account to the discount and hadn't a clue about the scheme in general really...I was kept on hold whilst the young man spoke to various colleagues. I got nowhere...he gave me a number to ring that he was unsure was still in use. They said to ring Scottish power!!! I suspect that they're doing all they can to get out of paying it....has anyone else had similar problems?
