Now Npower hike energy prices
Energy customers are out of pocket yet again as Npower becomes the third company to hike its prices by around 10%.
As of April 1st, loads of Npower customers could find themselves forking out a staggering £117-a-year more.
The cost of the standard variable tariff (SVT) is set to shoot up from £1,137 to £1,254.
It's set to affect around 1million Npower customers - that's 40% of their customer base.
They're the third company to shamelessly increase prices this year.
E.on is hiking gas and electricity bills for 1.8million customers by £117 from April 1, taking its SVT to £1,254 a year.
While, EDF is upping prices for 1.3million customers by £118 a year from April 1, which will also see its SVT rise to £1,254 a year.
Yesterday A Spokesman Said ran an article highlighting the EDF price rise, which will leave customers facing additional costs of around £118-a-year.
