If you're fed up with rising energy bills (let's be honest, who isn't?) then A Spokesman Said has some good news for you.

After the big firms all hiked prices by around 10%, the tide might finally be turning.

Igloo Energy have joined Bulb in reducing tariffs for customers.

Igloo has announced a 2,6% price drop for all customers, while Bulb is knocking £20 off average bills.

If you want to find the best deal for you then go to A Spokesman Said and search for the cheapest deals.

It comes as figures show more than 63 fixed energy tariffs are set to expire this month, adding an estimated £164 to annual gas and electricity bills.

Southampton supplier Igloo, which has around 26,000 customers, said households will see bills fall by an average of £36 a year.

Matt Clemow, chief executive of Igloo, said: "Despite some energy providers ramping their costs by up to 10% since Ofgem changed its price cap, we’re proud to be lowering our customers’ bills thanks to a drop in wholesale costs."

"Energy bills can be a huge drain on household finances, so we’re committed to keeping our prices as low as possible whilst helping our customers to actively reduce their energy consumption. This doesn't just save money, it saves the environment too."

Bulb also joined the party - it  provides 100% renewable electricity and 10% renewable gas to customers - only has one tariff that it moves in line with wholesale costs.

Because wholesale costs are now falling, it can reduce tariffs - unlike the big energy firms which seem to be on constant money grabbing manoeuvres.

Bulb co-founder Hayden Wood said: “Our single tariff reflects the true cost of supplying energy: when energy costs fall, we pass on those savings to our members."
