CANCELLED MEMBERSHIP @ HOUNSLOW GYM

Complaint against Xercise4Less

Dear Managers and....TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. With reference to my phone call conversation with (Chelsea) today, (Friday. 11th), who advised me to contact your customers services complaints via email.....When I first joined the new above mentioned gym in Hounslow for £9.99 on a lifetime / no membership / joining fee basis...I was told after paying up front for the first year, then I would automatically be put on monthly direct debit from this year 2016...Much to my regret this did not happen, after returning from holiday on November. 2nd...When entering the gym, I was told by a front desk staff member my membership had been cancelled by the new present (female manager)..After speaking to her she explained to me that she was able to start a new membership for £14.99 on one years contract basis...This was a total shock to me, as I had neither cancelled my membership, or been informed previously about my direct debit not being installed..There was no communication that my membership was due to expire plus cancelled. Further more I was informed by present staff that the previous manager (Keifer Stuart), plus many of his staff had been dismissed, due to irregularities concerning memberships at Hounslow gym. Bearing these above circumstances in mind, I find this a bizarre situation in that it was NOT my fault by penalising me, or other members by imposing, plus forcing of a new price, plus contract membership. Kindly investigate into my complaint with the present manager, into reason about this irresponsible / incompetent handling of my membership...I am willing to continue my membership at the original £9.99 price payable by direct debit from September 2016, plus willing to pay 3 months arrears.. I await your answer as soon as possible in order to resolve this outstanding issue on my membership, so I can continue to use the gym in Hounslow. Yours sincerely. Trevor Alfred
