Hazel's complaint against Xercise4Less
Cannot access equipment due to being wheelchair bound and machines not lowering so I could transfer
Complaint against Xercise4Less
I signed up at a promotional for the Middleton gym before it actually opened the trainer I was speaking with said if when it opened I found I couldn't use the machines it would not be a problem they would just cancel my membership and return my monies. When I went around with my carer and a trainer it became evident I couldn't use the equipment. After going round we discussed it and all agreed I wasn't told how to cancel my membership so I cancelled my direct debit and then I got a letter from Harlands. I rang and was told over a dozen people in wheelchairs use the gym ( maybe some Disability AwReness training might be useful) I was told to do it online I looked but as it is giving 30 days notice and I hadn't even been on a machine I felt I had never been a member. Just paying out and getting a letter of a debt collector has been very upsetting. I hope you can remedy this and return monies asap.
