Complaint against Xercise4Less
I recently cancelled my membership with the Burnley X4L club as I moved jobs. I provided a utility bill as required to cancel my membership and get out of the contract on travel distance grounds, which they accepted and agreed that I could exit the Contract. In the cancellation I signed an agreement to leave my Direct Debit alone and that X4L would end that for me, which I did and as far as I can see, they have done so. However I have received 2 text messages from the X4L number stating that my account has Defaulted and I am to be referred to a 3rd party debt collector. Not happy if this affects my credit rating. Also, the hassle of having to call up and discuss.
