I am still being charged after having cancelled account

Complaint against Xercise4Less

To whom it may concern, I am still being charged monthly payments of £9.99 by Xercise4Less having cancelled my account in 2015. I recently realized that a direct payment is being made to Harlands - a debt collection group I had not authorized to make payments to. The collection of monthly payments dates back to 2015. My concern is that I have no evidence of having cancelled what I thought to be a year contract. I regularly empty my email correspondences and upon calling the gym, they claim to have never received a cancellation form although I am sure I did at the time and even written a letter and handed it into the Leeds Branch in person. I look forward to hearing what my options are without any concrete evidence apart from the direct debit payments dating back to 2015 which have now amounted to an estimated £360.
