Taking payments when im unable to use GYM
Complaint against Xercise4Less
on 17th August 2017, I created a new account to use xercise4less Leeds, very soon after this I was involved in an incident that resulted in my leg and hand being broken. Due to this I never ended up stepping foot inside xercise4less, and as a result of this I received a phone call from the gym at this point I explained my issue to the person on the phone and received the reply " ok that's no problem hopefully we will see you once your injury is better". I, of course, understood this as my membership had been cancelled or at the very least suspended until I was fit to return. I then found that payment had been taken from my bank so I instantly contacted my bank and had them return the funds and cancel the direct debit. after this, I contacted Harlands who process the payments and was told I now owe an additional 20 pounds. I then contacted the gym who told me very rudely that I owe the money and I will have to pay it or I will just incur more charges. I will not make any payment of any kind to this gym due to the fact that I never ever used any facility offered by xercise4less, and if this matter is not resolved fully to my satifaction and will not return once my injury is better I will PURE GYM!
