Won't let you cancel

Complaint against Xercise4Less

I tried to cancel in the companies website after the despicable service I had received at the Newcastle branch I had been 5 minutes late to my class - due to a car accident! And I was shouted at by the class taker via a microphone in front of the whole class and told to get out! I'm sure you can appreciate how hard it is to get out of bed at 6am to go to a gym class then to be pubically screamed out and not allowed to join a class I had taken time to book is a huge knock back! I think tried to cance several times online but this didn't work - something wrong with the website! I think took in a letter to the branch to cancel waited for the next payment to go out as per their 30 days notice then cancelled my direct debit - knowing they were notorious for charging people after their cancellation period - I then received a threatening letter from Harlands which included a £25 admin fee! I have made 6 phone calls and 10 emails to the branch and after been passed from pillar to post I have been told as it was not recorded delivery - I physically handed it in there was no proof that I had cancelled! So now I am being charged £34.99 plus if they don't not sort it in the next 4 days I will be charged another £25 admin fee!
