Complaint against Xercise4Less
Joined the gym to help with mental health issues. Only to finally sign up after weeks of visiting to be told about a joining fee nobody knew anything about. Shoved a card reader in my face and paid almost £40 to join a gym. No emails were ever sent telling me about my direct debit or Bill amount as this was very unclear. Only to change bank accounts and find out they used Harlands and charged me yet nearly another £40. So after 2 months and almost £100 later, I emailed customer relations who wasn't even aware I had been charged a joining fee and worst yet. Should never have been, so who pocketed the money? I had to demand the cctv to be viewed as well as provide bank statements to prove I was not lying and in fact the staff who are VERY rude and cocky, had lied through their teeth. The lovely lady as customer relations has since refunded all of the money xercise 4 less and Harlands have taken. I've gone back to my old gym. As far as the equipment goes, its ok. Not worth the arguments and that amount of money by any standard. The scene tends to attract a lot of posers rather than dedicated gym goers. Paid to stand and wait for 20 minutes at a time while people did their sets and spent a further 10 mins taking selfies. Will not be going back and will not be recommending it to anyone. This was the xercise 4 less located at Castleford. Which was such a shame. Location was perfect. Shame about the customer service and satisfaction.
