Complaint against Xercise4Less
I was part of a monthly rolling student membership whilst at university. At the end of June I submitted my cancellation form, informing the company I would no longer be in the city where the gym was located - this part of the cancellation criteria ( as I would be returning to my home address - some 20 miles away). Since I submitted this email I received an email confirming that my account has been cancelled. However since then I have been charged for another 3 months. I have tried to contact X4L using all social media platforms, emailing and calling the gym I was a member (which has never picked up). Eventually I received an email saying my contract would end at the end of October - however this shouldn't be the case as I am on a rolling contract and I fulfilled the criteria of cancellation. This company is disgraceful - claiming to a friendly cost effective gym - however, the customer service is non-existent and they have made this cancellation process a gruelling mission. When asked for a contact number the communication goes silent, when you ask for help you have no help - just a blunt reply stating an irrelevant fact. I intend to resolve this issue as a matter of principle.
