Complaint against Amplifon
I have been an Amplifon customer for about 25 years and still go to a London branch of theirs even though I no longer live in London. This however means I have to make the two hour trip when it is time to see them. I make sure I have other things to do in London to make good use of my journey. The last three appointments, although booked well ahead, have been cancelled at 24 hours notice. The first time I was already in London and insisted on keeping the appointment which they honoured after much hassle. The second time, I was at least still at home and agreed to a new appointment. The new date was then cancelled at short notice when I was already in London. It is fairly clear to me that their branch is totally disorganised and has little regard for the customer. I was given different contradictory explanations for the cancellations by different people there all of which I found difficult to believe. At the moment they have cancelled the last appointment and have not bothered to make another. Why should I bother with them?
