I had my eyes done in 2013. Everything was fine, I had my check ups and I was happy with the improvement in my vision and being glasses free. I left it a while inbetween check ups and in mid 2017 when I went to book a check up I was told it was £50 but I had thought all check ups were free for life. I booked a free eye test with another company and was disappointed to be told that my prescription had changed and I now needed glasses. I contacted OE as I thought that top ups were part of the lifetime guarantee I had been promised but they informed me that this was not the case and I would have to pay. Myself, my 3 sisters and my Mother all had surgery at a similar time and we were all informed that there was a lifetime guarantee but we were not provided with any written proof when we have checked our paperwork. I am so disappointed that I now need to wear glasses again after paying £2500 for surgery. After reading other peoples testimonies online I now know that this has happened to hundreds of other people. OE should be ashamed!
