[LAPSED] EHIC renewal misleading

Complaint against EHIC Direct

My mother asked me to apply for a E111 (EHIC) on her behalf. I clicked on a link in google to renew it which took me to, straight to an application form which I completed with the information she gave me, not realising my error that it was not the official site until the payment screen displayed. I did not complete the payment. My complaint is that I have been mislead and that this company now has my mother's personal information stored on a database through no fault of her own. How can I rectify this on her behalf?

Dear Carol, I'm confused as to why you believe to have been mislead, as all of our service information is clearly displayed on our homepage, where you would have started the application. As you have not paid for our service no action would have been taken, and therefore consider the matter closed.
