[LAPSED] Fee for renewing EHIC not made apparent when applying.

Complaint against EHIC Direct

I applied for my EHIC renewal through EHIC Dierect online 19th March 2017 and at no time was it made apparent that I would have to pay a fee for this. Upon finding out today that I have been charged, I have contacted EHIC Direct to cancel my application. They have informed me that my application has been processed and are unable to refund me. I have tried to contact them by phone only to be left in a queue. I have tried to fill in their complaints questionaire to no avail.
