Complaint against DW Sports Fitness
I joined DW Sport 18/8/15. I was there for a full year but the last month before I left I filled out a form to say no longer wish to continue membership . As far as I was aware this had now been cancelled on my last log in day I made a point of checking with DW staff that they had cancelled my membership . The guy I spoke to assured me it was. I then handed over my membership swipe card. My last log in date was 25/1/16. Because I was busy seeing to my father with dementia who later died and then my sister suddenly passed away at a young age . I hadn’t thought to check my bank statement . When I did I was shocked to find that DW Sport was still taking direct payment from my account . I went straight away to my bank to cancel direct debit and went to see the manager from DW who is now telling me they did not receive a cancellation form: Please can DW refund this money .
