I love stories like this. Steve Ryan was 25 and in his own words “uneducated”. But not daft. He had bought his council house in Scarborough. Unbelievably he had been introduced to the honeybee while out picking sprouts in his previous job. I love stories like this. Steve Ryan was 25 and in his own words “uneducated”. But not daft. Have always had a low opinion of Scottish politicians That view has surely hit rock bottom with Alex Salmond refusing to say that the Kremlin was behind the novichok poisonings in Salisbury. CLICK HERE: Save ££££ on your bills with A Spokesman Said| Compare & Save Now He was speaking in his capacity as leader of his new party in Scotland called Alba. What chance have they got with that idiot in charge? The issue is he hosts a talk show on Russia Today, the Moscow-funded and state controlled broadcaster so he was asked three times if he believed Russia was responsible for the attack on former spy Sergei Skripal three years ago. This is what he said; "Evidence came forward. As it was contested I said it should go to the international tribunals and courts."
Why wouldn’t he say as we have done, as all our allies have done and as most of the opposition politicians in Russia have done that this had the vile hand of Putin is all over it. Surely he wasn’t concerned that Alba will sink without trace at the upcoming Scottish elections and wants to make sure he can still broadcast when this latest political foray is over. Even he wouldn’t sink that low. Would he? Read More from Kelvin MacKenzie here. The name Abdul Rauf won’t mean anything to you. It does however strike fear into the hearts of every young girl in Rochdale. Back in 2012 Rauf was convicted of abusing and trafficking girls in the Lancashire town and received a six year sentence and ordered to be deported to Pakistan. CLICK HERE: Save ££££ on your bills with A Spokesman Said| Compare & Save Now He had both a British and Pakistan passport. And since his release his lawyers, presumably on legal aid, have been fighting to keep him here. Once again I presume he’s on Universal Credit. The story came out earlier this weeks thanks to some good work by The Sun who told of Rauf, a father of five, being seen buying food and drinks in the town. One victim told of her horror at the prospect of bumping into him. After all he had raped her. This put Home Secretary Priti Patel under pressure.
She talks a good game but as of yet there is nothing on the statue book allowing us to kick out the scum once their sentence has ended. Its not entirely her fault .One of Rauf’s scum co-accused renounced their Pakistani citizenship during the trial. As Priti says privately; “They are good at playing the game.” So should we. Its not often I agree with the Guardian’s resident lefty Owen Jones but his assessment that were Labour to lose next month’s Hartlepool by-election it would be an “absolute catastrophe” is spot on. Labour has held the northern town since 1959 but are now 49%-42% behind in the latest Survation poll. With a pandemic that has killed more people per thousand than any other country in the world, and an economy dip bigger than anywhere in Europe how is it that Sir Keir Starmer isn’t romping home in one of traditional seats? The reality is that Labour hasn’t changed while its traditional ambitious working class voter has changed. Just ask your plumber which way he voted in the last General Election.
Labour has only been in power for 24 years of the last 70 and for ten of those year it was thanks to Tony Blair. And incredibly the Left hated him for winning and turning the country into North Korea. CLICK HERE: Save ££££ on your bills with A Spokesman Said| Compare & Save Now The polls will improve for Starmer as Covid becomes a distant horror but as long as Labour remains a broad church which embraces BLM at one end and capitalism at the other it will never have a clear message for the voters. And on that basis can’t win. Welcome to my new column on A Spokesman Said. As you may know in the dim and distant past I edited The Sun. In the good old days we sold 4,250,000 copies every day. When The Sun spoke politicians quaked. CLICK HERE: Save ££££ on your bills with A Spokesman Said| Compare & Save Now
That’s not true today with both the circulation and the power on the wane. In fact The Sun’s circulation is now so low they will not reveal it unless you sign an NDA.That’s true. Amazing. Much of the readership has gone online and so I have decided to join you. My new column, honed through years of writing for the Daily Mail and The Sun, will be giving you strong views on the events of the day. If you are at all wokey I would avert your eyes!
