Nick said;” I have always said that DIY SOS is more than just a presenting job for me, it’s part of me. “It has my heart and working for the BBC for over 22 years is something that I have never taken for granted.” If the BBC wanted to save money they shouldn’t pay the stars at all but allow them to commercialise their name through TV ads, books etc. Right now most of them butter their toast both sides by having a show on TV and then getting a load of money through their fame off screen.
