The first issue facing Sir Keir Starmer and his chum is that it is their policy in the first place. They introduced it back in 2007 when they were in power. The second issue is that under the scheme last year the United Kingdom kicked out 5,203 foreign criminals. Jamaica represented just 1% of that number. So there isn’t any racism. Our country doesn’t care what colour you are but if you don’t hold a UK passport and commit a crime for which you are handed a sentence of 12 months or more then you are going “home.” Finally the Labour front bench can’t make up their mind whether they are Arthur or Martha on this issue. Shadow Immigration minister Bambos Charalambous told The Times; “Clearly violent and dangerous offenders who have forfeited their right to remain in the UK should be removed.” He doesn’t include in that cohort the Jamaicans who were to be booted out for peddling Class A drugs, cocaine and the like. I do believe these men (they all seem to be men) are dangerous and if they want to make money out of drugs let them do it in Kingston, Jamaica and not on the streets of Brixton. I was hopeful to wish a fond farewell to a deportation flight from Birmingham Airport containing 50 Jamaican criminals but it was not to be. Last-minute appeals meant the Home Office was forced to remove a majority of them from the flight but I’m sure we will finally get rid of the vermin. My advice to Home Secretary Priti Patel; Ignore the noise and keep throwing them out.
