I had 10 payments taken out my account over a week which I got refunded by my bank as I raised a dispute. Today I received a letter from my bank saying that the company has provided proof that I signed up for credit check and money would be taken back out. I phoned Credit Portal and spoke to someone who confirmed that my account had been cancelled. He also said that every time I done a credit check I would be charged £19.99. Explained that this was not me And surely any company who you sign up for should be a monthly fee. Something seriously is wrong.
