Complaint against Mercury Holidays
Paid for a five star hotel in Dubai, but would only class it as a three star, rep sent arrival meeting after the meeting and apart from one conversation never heard from him again. That included arrangements for our departure which we arrange through the hotel. We were all inclusive but could only use one restaurant a buffet style arrangement. Refused food at the pool bar were they said it was for another company. We were the only English couple at some points of the stay, the hotel was absolutely full of children who at mealtimes we’re unsupervised plates being smashed, children touching food with their hands and general mayhem at meal times. Each meal time from breakfast to dinner the same, people in swimwear at all three meal times. The staff were great but not a five star hotel by any means. Having read the reviews on mercury wish we had done so before never go through them again. Don’t feel like we’ve had a holiday .
