Complaint against Staysure

i took out an annual policy in January. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in April. She had surgery and chemotherapy. When I informed Staysure they told me that I could either cancel the holiday, cancel the policy or take out a policy with another company . I have done this but will lose out because I will have to sacrifice the claims excess. The oncologist suggested that there was no problem about taking the holiday. Staysure should be renamed Stay Unsure. You don't know whether claims will be paid.

I understand you spoke to customer experience agent Lorraine yesterday and it was explained that Staysure will be issuing a final response letter in regards to your complaint. It is amazing that you have the time to respond to this type of social media whereas your colleague Lorraine told me it would be 8 weeks before you could prepare the documents for the insurance ombudsman. Staysure has let me down and I am out of pocket. I have a letter from the consultant oncologist stating that there is no problem to travel. Are your underwriters oncologists? I'm UNSURE!
