Complaint against Domestic \u0026 General

Had a dishwasher insured with D&G for a few years. Recently stopped working and was written off by the repair engineer. Waited to be contacted by D&G and ended up having to contact them. Was offered an inferior replacement (different make & model, different colour, cheap) I refused. Contacted the next day and passed from pillar to post to diffent departments, finally made contact with correct person whilst put on hold the phone cut off. I rang back got a different person. She said they would give me a replacement off the same make and colour but had to pay an upgrade fee, delivery and the remainder of my contract. £178. This customer service person just kept asking me if I read the terms of agreement over and over. Brilliant. I complained and was passed to a different department. I've ended up paying a slightly less amount than quoted. I was then offered to purchase an extended warranty on my new dishwasher. Ha ha! The upgrade fee was because they were offering a superior model A+. I've since looked at the model I have BOUGHT from D&G and it surprisingly is not A+ but a standard model. Thanks D&G start being straight with people.
