Complaint against Tesco Bank
I needed to book a long distance train journey, and at the time, there was only one seat available with a £99.99 saving. A very good friend had transferred the funds into my account. Three hours later, the funds had not been received. When I contacted Tesco bank, I was placed on a holding system for my call to be answered. This actually took approximately 25 to 30 minutes, this was not a local call rate. When I finally spoke to a lady, she had been through the process of becoming a Tesco Bank Robot. The only words that she could use were as follows: HELLO / WELCOME TO TESCO BANK / I AM SORRY and IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT. I have to say, I think she had a vast vocabulary compared to some customer service agents. I think that the worst thing that I have evert done in my lifetime, WAS TO TRANSFER MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT AND FINANCES OVER TO TESCO BANK. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS SAME MISTAKE.
