Complaint against Tui

Recently booked a holiday to cape Verde with Thomson airlines thru our local travel shop we paid upfront for extra legroom at a cost of £240 but the seats couldn't be confirmed at booking however when I went in to give passport details and collect visas I was told that my application for legroom seats was row 32 ab going out and row 32cd ,isle seats coming home ,my wife is not a good traveler and she wanted to sit next to me however we would be across the isle ,in this event I said OK we will have extra room going out but on return we would like to cancel our extra legroom and book normal seating to which Thomson replied to do that it will cost us £100 pounds to downgrade ,our travel agent was appalled at this answer so she said she would call the India call centre and put the same request to them ,their reply was no to the request of standard seats on the return trip but for £50 we could upgrade to extra leg room in and out ,appalling customer service from Thomson airlines . P's they did say to my travel agent has the customer read the 3 page terms and conditions ,who does ,with such a big holiday company and I'm paying extra I think their attitude stinks .
