Valliant charged 90 for warranty call out. Boilers fault.

Complaint against Vaillant

Since first day I have bought Valliant Ecotec pro 28 made loud clicking noises. I couldn't sleep at night. These clicking noises was even after boiler been switched off from socket. Valliant engineer came to my house and changed pump first time but clicking noise was still there. Second time he came there I told him that I have found information on YouTube where people says that screws in main heat exchanger are overtightened in factory and as metals expand when changing temperature that what makes these loud clicking noises. He rang another engineer who confirmed that and then he put some grease between. Some plate and overtightened screws. Even he told me it's manufacturer fault so I didn't expected they will charge me £90. When I rang to ask for refund, Valliant customer service told me that he found metal in heat exchanger. That's not boilers fault and he charged me. I've got all evidence and video Cctv. And I told I can send them this video so they can check that I'm not lieing. But ladies on phone just keep repeating that engineer found metal inside boiler. Can't believe how they treat customers and charge extra for warranty. They are scam company. Never ever buy Valliant boiler. They selling faulty boilers and then charge you for fixing them. I will go to citizen advice and then will decide what to do. I just think that's not fair that they can take customers money for fixing their own faulty products.
