Order placed 24th Sept with delivery within 8 days despite e/mails & phone calls received 10th Nov

Complaint against Solutions World

After checking that the Safety Ladder was in stock placed an order,ten days later rang firm and was informed item would be forwarded by .special delivery at no extra cost. e/mailed firm on 25th October no response not even an acknowledgement, it was then noted that Customer Services are only open 9 am to 5.30 Mon to Fri. Step ladder received 27th October, after opening found that the nuts and bolts to fix the Safety bars were not included,contacted Customer services to request immediate despatch of these necessary items. Phoned Customer Services on 4th November and was advised to phone them again if they had not been recieved by Friday 6th Nov, rang Customer Services mid-afternoon on the Friday, a female member of staff who informed me she would ring me back with-in two hours. False promise not only did she not return my call on Friday but was still waiting until Tuesday 10th November when the items arrived. The letter enclosed was dated 16th October which would indicate that it was a delivery delay however discussions with their staff up to 6th November made it clear they had no knowledge of despatch.
