Level of car park charge

Complaint against Bristol Airport

We have frequently used Bristol airport with a variety of car parks. We have used the Express Drop off car park for drops offs, pick ups and Meet and Greet without any problem. However. On the 21 January I arrived to pick up my husband about 10 minutes after his flight was due, having checked before leaving home that the flight was on time. In the event he was over an hour late by the time he landed and got his luggage. On leaving the Express Car Park we were charged £50. I realise on reflection that I should have used the short term par park but my complaint is two fold. 1. On arrival the weather was atrocious, dark and very heavy rain. There was presumably a notice setting out the charges, but this was. It apprentice on those conditions. 2. After an hour the charge jumps markedly to £50, with the charge remaining the same for 24 hours. A more gradual increase would seem more equitable. Judith
