Complaint against Immigration Direct
I applied online yesterday, I started completing the application and one question I wasn't sure what to answer so I tried to contact them by phone, was on hold for 20 mins then hung up, tried an hour later, same scenario. Sent them an email via their website, they replied more than 24 hours later apologising they couldn't answer my call, my form was incomplete and if I wanted to cancel it was ok. When I replied at their email address the email bounced back. I tried a few time and it always bounces back. Now I just realised it was a scam but they now have £200. Is there anyway we can stop those people? Isn't there anything in any laws in the UK to stop this? I just checked on the internet and I should have before but I just realised it was a scam, my fault! But someone should be able to stop them from stealing from people. I don't really know what to do.
