Midland heart not keeping appointments they send regarding house inspection

Complaint against Midland Heart

Second inspection appointment now where the surveyor has not turned up. Last week he was ill and this week he is MIA. I am getting increasingly annoyed with being let down by your housing association over something that we are told that we need done in order to exchange our property. You have had THREE WEEKS so far with our completed application forms and have done absolutely nothing to move this process forward. The other housing association we are working with (their tenant is the one we are exchanging with) have been forthcoming with appointments from the get go and their tenant has already had her house inspection, and they have sent you their tenants references. You have 3 more weeks maximum to make a decision on if this exchange request is approved (by law!) therefore I think you should be doing something proactive and at the very minimum keeping the appointments that you have sent us. In summary: Midland heart have not kept in line with the other housing associations progress, they have not kept to appointments they have sent us for a house inspection, they have not kept us informed of any changes, they have not responded adequately as promised in order to see this exchange take place prior to 11th April.
