Bar 101 will not refund my daughters money back for the hire of the place for her 18th Birthday
Complaint against Bar 101
My daughter hired out Bar 101, Ruislip for her 18th Birthday Party. We were called in to pay in full half cash and half via my daughters bank card in total £920. This was on the 18th April 2016. The bar cancelled my daughters party without advising her we only found out when my daughter rang to see if the premises were available for one of her friends birthdays then they said oh your party is cancelled no sorry nothing. We went to the Bar to collect the money nothing, they said they havn't got it and to come back, I rang every day for a month, they either put the phone down on me or said they will call me back but didn't. I was told there was cash in a envelope in the Bar when I went to collect the cash they said they couldn't find it, I was then advised there was a cheque waiting for me I rang to arrange collection, again the person on the phone advised they didn't know anything about a cheque and then I was told they had arrange a bank transfer and yet again nothing. We have all receipts of the payment but they still will not provide our money back not only are the staff and the owner un professional they keep lying they have spoilt my daughters 18th birthday because I couldn't pay for any presents without the money and the money was for my daughters spending money on holiday, the holiday has gone bye and nothing.
